Blue faced leicester (BFL) hand dyed yarn with bamboo is a soft yarn with great durability even without nylon making it great for socks. This is a superwash wool combined with bamboo which adds extra drape and shine.
Yarn is dyed in the clover fields colorway; tonal shades of purple, dark green, and light green.
This colorway, Clover Fields, is inspired by my yard. It is full of clovers and in the spring before we start mowing there are cute little purple flowers.
Knitting Gauge: 27-32 sts = 4" on #1-3 needles
Crochet Gauge: 21-32 sc = 4” on #C-D hooks
I do my best to portray colors accurately but colors may vary slightly in person due to screen variations and dye lots. Due to manufacturing in small batches by hand not all skeins will be exactly the same but they will be close. Please buy as much as you need to finish the project as I can't promise I can recreate exactly due to manufacturers changing dye formulas or yarn blends.
Yarn is rinsed and soaked to remove excess dye but please be aware that yarn can bleed slightly. Please hand wash separately in cold water.
